Meet Our Team

Dr. Stephanie Stearman DDS, is dedicated to providing her patients with the exceptional dental care they deserve. A native of Utah, Dr. Stearman grew up in Cottonwood Heights and attended Brighton High School. She later received both academic and volleyball scholarships to Snow College and Southern Utah University.


After graduating from The Ohio State University’s College of Dentistry, Dr. Stearman returned to Utah to establish her dental practice. She continually enhances her skills by taking courses on the latest state-of-the-art techniques and procedures. As an evaluator for The Clinician Research Report, a prominent dental research publication, she helps provide current information to dentists worldwide.


In 2021, Dr. Stearman became one of the few Community Care Providers in the Salt Lake Valley, working with the VA to make dental care more accessible to veterans. Her dedication to service is evident in her commitment to our veterans.


When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Stearman enjoys traveling the world. With a trip or two always in the works, she loves learning about different places and cultures. Inspired by Mark Twain’s belief that “travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness,” Dr. Stearman cherishes getting to know her patients and always strives to provide them with the highest quality dentistry.

Dr. PedroE. Ruiz, DMD, is a dedicated and compassionate dentist committed to providing exceptional dental care. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico in 2000, where he was a proud member of the Golden Key National Honor Society. In 2004, he graduated from the UPR School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree and further honed his skills through a General Practice Residency Program in New York City. Dr. Ruiz has extensive experience working in private practices in Puerto Rico, where he also owned his own practice before relocating to the United States with his wife. He has pursued continued education and training in Florida, Texas, and the prestigious Whitecap Implant Institute in Utah, among other locations. Fluent in both Spanish and English, Dr. Ruiz is dedicated to making dental care accessible and comfortable for a diverse range of patients. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Ruiz cherishes spending quality time with his wife and son. His passion for family and his commitment to excellence in dentistry make him a trusted and beloved figure in the community.

With 30 years of experience in the dental field, Alisynn brings a wealth of knowledge and a warm, caring approach to her role as a dental hygienist. She began her career as an assistant and receptionist, and for the past 25 years, she has dedicated herself to dental hygiene. Alisynn takes great joy in meeting and treating her patients, building lasting relationships while helping them achieve optimal oral health. Outside of her professional life, Alisynn is an avid reader, a talented seamstress, and a passionate hockey enthusiast. She looks forward to many more years of educating her patients on dental health and working with them to regain and maintain excellent oral hygiene.

Tooth Ache

If you’re suffering from any toothache, we must be aware of it. A mild pain, for example, an extremely mild ache or sensitization to certain foods or temperatures, is usually left until your next scheduled appointment. If your pain is severe or sharp, it could be a sign of the presence of a more serious issue. If you suspect this, you should call our office for an urgent appointment for dental emergency.
